Hendricks Porter

Hendricks G. Porter J.P. began his career as a Customs Broker’s Clerk in the offices of L.C. McQueen and Company. Here he was employed for five years before leaving to start his own business in 1965. In that year Mr. H. A. Lowe, (now deceased), CEO of City Radio Service Limited offered Hendricks Porter a desk permitting him to work for other importers providing that he cleared all imported goods for City Radio Service Limited first. Hendricks agreed and at that desk Porter Brothers was founded. City Radio Service Limited thus became Porter BrothersEfirst client.

Hendricks Porter was later joined by his wife Noeleen and his brother Manzie Porter, and Porter Brothers Limited was formally incorporated in 1971, occupying premises at Church Street, Kingston.

     Hendricks G. Porter J.P., founder, is the Managing Director and the President of the Customs Brokers Association of Jamaica.
     Manzie G. Porter J.P. is the Deputy Managing Director and is a Past President of the Customs Brokers Association of Jamaica.
     Mrs. Noeleen H. Porter, Certified Broker, is the Director of Finance.
     Ms. Claudette Leair, Certified Broker is the Director for Export and Removals, and is also the Company Secretary.
